Two year newer, lower miles, roughly similar spec. One year left on CPO. Yes, I think my car will bring $35K, maybe more....

Mot sure what the CD will end up going for. I know what my number is.

...of course then I need to budget for Fidelity extended warranty, roof rail installation, black trim installation, alcantara headli...(okay stop!)

To their each own but I believe Yellow painted calipers suits best the dark blue paint. Anyways, the paint can be stripped off with paint thinner and you can color it whatever paint you like
When I saw the first pic of the vehicle, one of my first reactions was "Wow, PCCB on a diesel. Haven't seen that before."

Felt deceived when I dug deeper and found out it didn't have PCCB. I saw the "Yellow painted brake calipers" listed as a mod and thought a better description would have been "Yellow painted brake calipers (not PCCB)".

Apologies if the wording of my prior post led you to infer that I wasn't paying attention.

I own a 2017 CS and had a 2016 diesel. Diesel was totaled when someone ran in to me. My opinion only but I think a similarity spec'd diesel and CS, the diesel will fetch higher dollar since it is more rare and finding one with desired options is even more rare. That is the key, options. If you find a diesel with air ride you better be ready to buy it immediately, and pay. My diesel was platinum edition, heated/cooled seats , 18 way seats, pano roof, Bose, hitch, roof rails, 21 inch whees , only had 25K miles when I got it, summer 2020. Went looking a year later and couldn't find anything in a diesel that was similarly spec'd. Looked for 3-4 months when my current CS came available. Roof rails, hitch, adaptive cruise which I love, Bose, heated/cooled seats. 20K miles , PCM 4.0 is nice compared to 3.1. Insurance paid me a few thousand more for my 2016 diesel than my 2017 CS cost.
I also think that as the miles go up the diesel will hold its value since that 3.0 Diesel engine is bulletproof. I miss mine.
Again, my opinion only, I've owned both but have not been seriously looking at the prices /market this year.

Was the ACC part of the Convivence package? You do not see that option on CDs.
(I see the front camera in the front grill but no ACC on the build sheet)

It is not part of the Convince package. I think there was an error on build sheet and it was not included in option list but came with car. Not the first time I have seen this with Porsche

Pretty good guess!. I was tempted to bid. , I miss my diesel, but am very happy with my CS. I've never seen a diesel with those options.

I am a bit shocked it went for only 31k but it was an auction
the air + PASM is the real unicorn of this CD
you also do not see black interior w/ 18-way & blue exterior
again 31k is a pretty good deal
if the seller did not have this an auction, they might have got a few k more.... maybe

there was some options and mods that was not on the build sheet, if you add these up it's pretty nuts
yes, i know that options/mods really do not hold their value.

ACC
20-inch Cayenne SportDesign II wheels
Turbo S-style exhaust tips
Heated multifunction steering wheel from a "958.2" Cayenne
Factory Exclusive gear selector
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration

the yellow calipers is the only mod I did not like, but to each their own

I threw in a bid at $26,000 but that quickly was a non-starter. Given the run up at the last minute I thought it might have gone as high as $35K. If it had a pano roof, I might have gone higher...but not sure that the 958.1 CD ever had pano as an option...

$31K was a very good price with that level of options, reasonable mileage and extended diesel warranty through next May.

Not sure why there are a lot who don't look like yellow brake calipers mod but I find it pretty cool. I had an M3 before with Interlogas color and it matched yellow brake caliper pretty well. Anyways, if this is not power coated then it is pretty easy to strip it and your problem is solved

But I agree the buyer got pretty good deal. This car is 35k if it was priced some where else

Pano very common in the UK and Europe in the 958.1 CD's. Are you just referring to the USA.
Interestingly ive never seen a UK CD with the cooling seats function...only heated seats.

My number was $5K short.

There was a surprising amount of sniping at the last second...which is weird, because according to the auction rules, a new bid resets the time clock to one (five?) minutes. So sniping is pointless, unlike on eBay.

dont like the "painted" yellow because it indicates the brakes parts are something they are not
red was an option you could order from the factory, red sure, yellow no
