Another new 2015 CD Owner
Picked her up from a fellow rennlister. This one is very clean with 125,000 on the odo. She looks very well maintained and I am happy with the purchase. Just took her for the obligatory CT Emissions Testing, prior to getting her titled and plated. She passed easily.
The exterior color is Meteor Grey Metallic with Agate Interior (very dark brown). As I look at her, I think I see a hint of brown in the exterior color. Maybe a set of dark or light bronze wheels would make the exterior pop?

Quick question. Since I don't have plates on her yet, she has been sitting in the garage. This morning I was putting some documents in passenger side and I looked up and saw the hands on the clock on the dash spinning crazy...............in reverse!! They stopped after about 10-15 seconds and at the right time too. Is this normal or do I need to call in an Exorcist ??

The behavior of the clock hands spinning is normal.

Thanks all. I was afraid I would have to have an exorcism performed even before she got her plates !! Now I just settle for a sprinkle of Holy Water............just in case !!!

Lol welcome!
I had a 991 with the two tone Agate / Pebble gray interior and agree that the Agate Gray interior is really much more of a dark brown than a gray. It's not a warmer brown like Espresso, but it's definitely very brown-ish.
My current 997 is Meteor and yes, it definitely has some bronze / brown tones to it in the direct sun for sure. I can see it pretty clearly on sunny days.
Enjoy your CD! They are awesome.

The crazy spinning clock: That's the original clock that some of us no longer have. Some of us had the "small" dial detach from the clock and the replacement clock no longer does that. I remember asking the service advisor to reprogram the dancing clock but he could not.

The Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles have some interesting quirks. You either love them or buy an Infiniti.
Case in point...many years ago I bought a well-used Audi A6 C4 avant for use as a winter rat. Got in the car, heading home, and about ten minutes into the trip, the sunroof opened by itself.
I said "hello, Audi, good to meet you too!"
(The C4 sunroof switch was prone to contact issues, which would cause the sunroof to tilt open on its own. If you weren't privy to this little factoid, it could scare the crap out of you. )
...but as others have noted, the spinning hands is a design feature likely hatched by someone in marketing, not a bug.

I cannot imagine what the engineer was thinking when they designed that into the clock, except to surmise they just wanted to freak out unsuspecting owners such as myself. Maybe those guys did side work as a Porsche specific exorcism team??
Other than that, my limited seat time in my CD (while awaiting plates) has been great. I need to check my alignment, as I did notice some "unusual" wear on the passenger side tire, outside edge. But being new to the area, I am not sure where to take it (trying to avoid killer prices at the dealer).

Why it needs 300 trips around the dial to do this is DEFINITELY marketing.

Beautiful....great color combo, and I love the blacked out trim. Agate is one of my favorite interiors.

Took a drive up to NH today. At was about 30F outside, but nice and toasty inside. The Cayenne is a very nice cruiser and this diesel doesn't even brake a sweat at 80 . It's actually really hard to drive at anything less and I have to resort to cruise control in order to do that. Anyway, no shakes rattles or bad noises and I averaged 31.2 for the trip up and back !! She is a beast !
My questions is the engine parameters on one of the pop up screens. There is Water Temp (held steady at 200F, Oil Temp (fluctuated between 197 and 211F), Oil Pressure (Fluctuated between 3.4 and 3.5 Bar while driving) and Battery Voltage (Kicked off at 14.7v and eventually settled in at 13.9v). Just checking to see if these parameters are within the norm.
Can't wait for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can give her a bath and a nice cleaning !

Perfect parameters.
Long drives during the summer, you can see engine oil temps get to 220. Sometimes close to 230.
If the computer senses you are highway cruising, it will slowly raise the oil temp to 220 for fuel efficiency.
But again, your numbers are perfect.
