PDCC Motor - So Noisy!

PDCC Motor - So Noisy!
Cayenne's with PDCC optioned have a 'tandem vane pump' which powers the PDCC system and the power steering system. When I first got my 958, mine was so loud I thought something was broken with the car. After replacing several things, the dealership finally narrowed it down to the vane pump. They replaced it under CPO warranty. The noise was lessened but still louder than any other mechanical system on the car.
I've since come to learn that every PDCC Cayenne has this obnoxious, embarrassing sound.
Is there any aftermarket manufacturer that produces a better version of this pump?
Has anyone found a way to deaden or eliminate this awful noise?
Thanks

I've never noticed mine being loud. But I haven't noticed my purge valve clicking loudly either. I guess I'm just not as sensitive to the noises that others are.

LOL... You know what really cut down my engine bay noise was installing the hood insulation pad. It's cheap enough, give it a try.

So here's the part number. If I remember correctly I shopped around. It was cheaper elsewhere and cheaper shipping. I don't remember where though. Maybe Ed remembers. Don't forget you will need 12 I recall.
