Selling 21" Wheels - Fair Price?
The Porsche service manager is interested in buying my 21" 911 Turbo II Wheels (not sure that is the official name for them but that's what is on the sticker) - they look like the photo below.
They have some peeling on them, not sure from what, so need refinishing - what's a fair price to ask?

Porsche service manager? Well I'm sure he's used to high pricing so I'd start at like $4,500.

Jokes aside, I think that $4500 price for 4 isn't that that crazy for OEM wheels. https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...2142019A1.html

If you want to shod your car with some HRE's chime in. I'm about to send them to HRE for a color change but will entertain selling them. Right now they are Frozen Clear. About to drop $1,000 to change the color. Like new, in original boxes and original receipt

This is making me think about selling Turbo IIs and putting my extra set of Vorsteiners on my Cayenne after I refinish them from the matte bronze, which I don’t think look good on a black car. I’d have them redone in a lighter color, which I can have my wheel guy do for $500 all in, including dismounting and remounting and balancing.
I’m going to sell one of the sets … what do you all think the Vorsteiners are worth?

Not sure why you want to get rid of a Nice OEM Forged Wheel, that won't crack, and get some Chinese wheels without the center Porsche logo?
Take original wheels paint them black.

#1 Never get rid of OEM wheels, They are that important when you go to sell the car. I have those same Vorestiner 103's and they are an incredibly strong wheel and lightweight to boot. Flow forged and made in Taiwan, which is not the same as being made in China. You can get a Porsche center cap for any wheel so it's not that big of a deal.
Keep in mind that these Vorestiner wheels are no longer made so you damage one, it's going to be harder and harder to find a replacement. Right now they are around but supplies will soon be dwindling so value will reflect that. I have my set for sale at $1,000 and anything less, I'll just keep them and toss some winters on them.
My CTT with Vorestiner 103's and Porsche center caps.

With the spare on hand, I won't have to spend $750+ to source one overnight if necessary.

Thanks fellas for the advice … thought the Vorsteiners would pull more than 1k for a set.
I was thinking 2500 was closer to the mark.
I’ll keep them for the 120k mile Touareg that I’m giving to my college kid. They look awesome on that toffee brown metallic vw … will keep the other VDub wheels in case something happens to one of the wheels.
