Default Porsche previews quicker, more powerful Cayenne Coupe variant

Maybe called the Cayenne Turbo Performance like they did with the Macan since Turbo S already exists.

Also makes me wonder if I can get the power boost from Porsche.

I think this will most likely be branded the Turbo S, the same as the Panamera facelift. The Panamera now has two Turbo S models (Turbo S with this 620 hp / 630 PS engine and Turbo S e-Hybrid with 690 hp / 700 PS combined). I expect the Cayenne will adopt the same naming scheme.

I didn’t consider this….good point. I suspect a simple tune will get the Turbo to Turbo S power levels but obviously won’t get all the additional tuning that goes with it.

The Porsche press release talks about a new model that is track tuned. Remember the rumors of a Cayenne GT? See https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2021...est-24549.html

I must say that a ICE super-powered cayenne sounds fun. I can’t imagine these being built for too many more years before electric takes over. Im on the list.... could be a vehicle I keep for a long time as they are phased out. Looking forward to getting more information.
