Just so you know, active lane keeping only works when ACC or Innodrive is active. It also sends a warning if it doesn't detect a steering input in ~12 sec. I have it and use it whenever I'm in cruise control but otherwise it has no value.

Hi All,
This is my first post, I have never had a Porsche before but looking to order 2023 Cayenne EHybrid Platinum edition, I am looking to get ACC and LKA LCA, etc, I have been driving my 2019 X5 and love the car and am afraid that I will miss a couple of features like Lane Change Assist, I currently depress my indicator stalk slightly and the car changes the lane for me looking in the blind spot, if there is a car coming it will wait for it to pass and then switch the lane for me. the second thing is I just need to touch the steering to satisfy the need to steer every few seconds, does Cayenne have that or is it like Tesla where you need to actually move the steering a bit?
Besides these two things I am really excited about getting a Porsche.
Any clarification will be helful.

My Cayenne has innodrive which does what you describe with the self drive but you have to actually move the steering wheel (very lightly tap it with one finger) to let the car know you are still with it. It can’t wait for a car to pass before changing lane as far as I’m aware but that said I never use innodrive.
