The Violet Ace departed Emden on 4Apr, but the PWL report only shows it stopping in Baltimore on 16Apr and not stopping in Jacksonville (I suppose that report could be wrong). The Siem Confucius departed Emden this morning at about 6CET and is due into Jacksonville on 21Apr after porting in Davisville. RI.

Default Current lead time to custom order Cayenne S

Hi,

We are thinking to custom order Cayenne S.
what is the current lead time from securing allocation to delivery these days?

It took four months for my 992 back in 2021.

~5 months for us. We got the allocation in December, currently in the middle of the Atlantic. Should be here early May. (fingers crossed)

My bet is also on Siem Confucius although my initial TYD says it wasn't due in port until 23 Ap 2024 so sounds right. WIll see what my SA says...

Depends on model would think...some are easy to find while other models require a wait to get an allocation. Got in line end of last Sept with initial discussion with dealers and request for an allocation...had to wait till Nov to secure my hybrid S with a March build date and May delivery which has pushed to June/July due to the chip issue and also wait for hybrid release for sale in the US. So could be 4 mos but maye a it longer depending on your dealer and what things look like.

Yes seems 4-6 mos is normal depending on the model. Base cars seem easiest to get IMHO while hybrids not so much. GTS not announced...good luck in finding an allocation when they drop them/announce their release tho as it seems to be very much anticipated model also.

There’s probably a day or two between the ship docking and PCNA accepting CCC of the car.

Yes spoke with my SA today and confirmed my vehicle IS on the S. Confucius. and that estimated ETA in Jacksonville FL is 25 Apr 2024. However said there is also a national release HOLD from Porsche on hybrids that is not till June sometime. So those cars will either sit at port or dealer's lot until then and cannot be released to customers until certification release is done. That matches my current TYD ETA which still shows 28 Jun 2024 to me like most others waiting for the Cayenne hybrids.

transport updates...

I ordered a Turbo GT and mine is on the Siem Confucius as well. My SA sent me the same snapshot as yours, but under "Shipment Block" mine does not have anything there whereas yours states "2 Certification." I guess that is referring to the Hybrid hold.

Yes you have a Turbo GT which has no hold on it so you'll get it sometime probably late April or early May depending on where you live. Since I have a hybrid I get to wait till Porsche gets the okay from EPA to release after the final certification for sale is granted. Word is that is June from Porsche US/NA at this time. So my car gets to take a nice rest at port until that occurs and my dealer can take possession...unfortunately. But delivery should occur before end of summer!

Of note, I did get a sneak peak at my car's virtual twin that had arrived at the dealership today and is awaiting its new owner and delivery while taking in another car for service. Very happy with my build...almost wished I had chosen the bordeaux leather interior...goes quite well with Quartzite Gray I think. Very nicely done...Cayenne Coupe! Great minds think alike! LOL

great choice of color combination ! The new Cayenne looks perfect in this grey color with black wheels 🔥
