Oh no!!! Were any reasons shared? I dont have a Hybrid on order but I can really empathize what a huge bummer this must be.

Dealer told me the same today. Deliveries delayed until “year end of 2023 or first quarter of 2024.”

Since what I heard was pretty much verbatim what Cheatar posted, I presume that they’re from the same letter. Whether such letter is from Corporate or PCNA, I have no idea.

What an absolute pain if correct.

If your build is locked and production goes back significantly, can you get the deposit back?

I heard from my sales guy in Palm Beach (very large dealer) that the hybrid will be delayed until March 2024. He mentioned an issue with EPA approval..

Not sure if I will accept a 2024 in March/ April 2024, maybe wait for a '25

Is this only for the US?

Were you allowed to order an e-hybrid in the US? From what I was reading at the launch the e-hybrid was not available in the US - only the base, S and the Turbo GT were supposedly launched in the US.

Any uk/eu members have any info?

If its an EPA issue, other regions will be fine. This is probably just localized to the US market.

Something does not make sense. In april when the cayenne was launched the e-hybrid was supposedely not launched in the US. Based on this the US dealers shouldnt have had pricing and configuration options.

On the other hand it is available in the US configurator.

My guess the dealers had a very draft date for e-hybrid delivery - at least 3 months after the 26th of July which is the official delivery launch - and they sold based on this.

Another theory is that there is maybe over demand in all the continets it launchced and they are pushing US dates for later?

In any case this is not good and I understand a car to be delayed a month or two but not that long.
