Mine is sitting 6 kilometers away from my home (at the dealer's)... Excruciating pain of waiting.

May I ask which model you purchased and have you been specifically told the delay is to do with new software required before delivery?

S coupe.

I just saw the revised date on "My Porsche" app. It was revised just yesterday on the app to reflect the 2 months delay.

If I do get the car in mid October ... it means from start of production to delivery has taken 5 months.

Picked up a 2024 Cayenne S on Tuesday morning. Seems like just hours before the stop sale

I have not heard anything from my SA about a fix yet. Hazard lights are working fine so far.

Location is NJ.

I'm starting to think that "oh... it's something with hazard lights" dealers' statements when they describe the reason behind the stop sale is something from the same category as "blinker fluid", i.e. a total joke/BS/"i-dont-know-anything" kinda reply.

I posted this on another thread.

The email went to EU dealers last week. For the base and S the new launch date is around the 7th of August.

For the EU hybrid the new launch date is around the 21st of August.

Let’s all “prey” the dealers do not get any more emails

I am worrying that the hybrid is a more complex situation since it seems they have not shipped any cars from Germany - at least to some dealers I know. Based on this i unfortunately suspect that they will delay us much more with the hubrid.

Pure speculation here but I assume the hybrid is on a separate branch of software from the core that runs the ICE trims. Maybe it’s just a prioritization thing? Fix and push for ICE then do the same for hybrid code stack.

When the stop delivery is called “re-program gateway control unit” I think it’s safe to say it’s a re-program…

believe me, we wish we could tell you more in every instance something happens, but most of the time we’re in the dark as much as you…

Jason,
Are you with a Porsche Dealership? If so, what are you seeing on the PNN infoport?

Can you verify this: Number: APB1, Campaign: Gateway SW incl. Care Package (NAR Vehicles previously WPJ5) Target date start campaign: CW36. IE- 1st week in September

Walt

Dealer today tells me it's technically stop delivery, they can still sell the cars. GM hopes to have a fix next week but I would not hold my breath.

So, guys, the working day is in full swing in the US. Any news about the "stop delivery"? My European dealer is silent.
