I am in the UK. My Cayenne Hybrid was due to arrive at the dealership on 28/07/2023. They have been notified that the new delivery date is now 22/09/2023. Hope this helps

So does the manufacturing plant just keep putting out non compliant vehicles that will be fixed at a later when the updated software is available?

No needs to panic - at least not yet. Let’s keep fingers crossed and by Friday let’s hope they have news that the base and s will be fixed next week as planned. This is what I am hearing for the Eu cars but should be the same for the US cars. So it would be a 2 week delay for base and s owners so it is ok.

If the above happens then we might get the e-hybrida just before the end of August.

if the above do not happen then let’s all get angry - and then just sit and wait again

Just to keep everybody amused

I had a nice 2020 base with 30km that i just decided to sell and upgrade to the 2024 e-hybrid for no real reason. A very ingenious decision , spent over and above the amount of a very nice car - around 60k - since the new car is almost fully loaded and we are now without a second SUV for 6 months. In addition I cancelled my 992 cabriolet 4 gts which was arriving last may so that I upgrade the van (cayenne) first - again with no real reason - and wait for the 992.2 which it seems would come next may the earliest.

Just posting my stupid decisions to amuse everybody and to take a breath, sit back and relax and wait - at the end of the day they are just cars

Most likely yes, then they will get upgraded at the ports.

It’s not just a safety issue with the hazards but Porsche has discovered some cars are very glitchy (cluster and PCM) and this update will fix numerous issues.
It’s a very large software update.

As someone with a software engineering background, if I say the fix will be ready tomorrow, it will probably be ready in 2 weeks. If I say a fix will be ready in 2 weeks, I already probably took care of it yesterday

I place the deposit in Feb, and this car is still sitting in the port for another delay.......this overall dealership + manufacturer experience makes me want to cancel the order now..

thanks for the reply. I'll email them and ask if it possible today. The one good thing about all this is the car itself. I was lucky enough to test drive it back in June at the 75th anniversary event, and that's kept me hooked till now. But on the other hand, I've been without a car for two whole months now lol...
