that tax would definitely sway one’s decision - in the US you get a tax credit of 7,500 i think. but it wasn’t enough to sway me. maybe the tax credit is only for all electric. i can’t recall.

There is little to no benefit in the UK for the Turbo S E-Hybrid in terms of tax, only applicable to company cars but not practical by any means.
I have been driving my 20' Turbo S E-Hybrid for two weeks by now. I'm on a vacation in Europe this week since Friday.
180-220 km/h high speed driving, for 750 km. (~110-130 mph, ~450 miles)
French/Belgium/Luxembourg motorways, between some cities from Calais to Luxembourg.
12.4 l/100km average consumption. Charged as much as possible throughout the car parks and charging stations with AC 7.2kW.
Hybrid Auto, E-power, and E-charge modes were used.
5 people in carry, boot space was filled at max.
Used ACC %80 of the time.
I didn't give any attention to the fuel economy at all. The thing I realised though, it stops the engine even when cruising at 200 km/h.
I think that's a really good stat for a 680 bhp car.

Hello everyone! Thanks again to all who answered and shared.....
Well, we did it! Without going into pricing or whether it was good deal or bad. I'll just say, we paid below 'their' price and $1.7k over what I wanted to give. It is Porsche CPO and has 6200mi. First impressions have been mostly positive. The battery doesn't last as long as I thought it might but again, I had no frame of reference. I think realistically, it will provide a day of errands here in East Tn in hybrid mode. Battery only and I think we can go to the grocery store and back. It's solid, comfortable, pretty nibble and pretty quick. This Cayenne has the off road package, for the life of me, I can't imaging 5k lbs car being much use off road. The regen braking will take some getting use to because of the extra noise. The Cayenne won't be an every day car so will have to see if 220v charging will be needed or the standard 120v will do overnight. Since we drive very little, considering a trickle charge for the ICE battery. Sometimes a car or two will set for 2-3 days without moving.
BTW, I did make one huge mistake..........the dealership had a '22 911 GT3 and as part of the transaction, I got to drive it around. BIG MISTAKE- the GT3 isn't a mere car, it's so much more. I thought my base Carrera was something....nope! I've been ruined now for life. Of course, the $$$$ is insane so there's that. Anyway, I wish I could have taken the GT3 to the Tail and really wet my pants.
Thanks to all...........

I highly recommend a 50 amp circuit (NEMA 14-50/6-50 plug type hubble commerical grade socket) _OR_ a 30 amp circuit (NEMA 14-30/6-30 socket) - you can charge the Cayenne (and other EV's) with either socket and will also work for _ANY_ future EV needs - and be way way way faster than household 120V socket for charging. feel free to PM me if you want to go down the rabbit hole, but being albe to charge a PHEV/EV faster makes them vastly more useful…

Not sure if you can trickle charge the 12V battery. This normally charged through 480V battery when charging.

Only a few minutes behind the wheel so far, but it doesn't 'feel' bad or that different. It is a heavy vehicle and I think that is noticeable. For me, it's the sound of the brakes regen system. It just sounds like the pads are worn out.

there is no noise from my hybrid when braking - at least nothing "abnormal"

I have the MY23 and I confirm what dave said there is no weird regen noise from the brakes. Though there is a dry brake mechanical noise from the brakes after a cold start but goes away in couple of kms/ brakes.

I drive just on weekends and my e hybrid stays idle for 4-5 days a week, never had any issues with battery so far. So I do not think you would need to worry about if not firing off for 2 / 3 days in your case.
