Default Courtesy Door lens fell off

When I opened the door, the door light lens just fell out. It doesn’t clip or lock in place no matter how hard I push. Any idea how to affix?

Try removing the housing and then replace the lens. The lens pops right back on if the housing is removed from the door.

From this thread:

Use a trim tool to pry the puddle light from the bottom of the door. When removing the factory light, you might pop off the lens from the housing. No worries; just continue removing the housing and the lens pops right back on.

@Schnave So you must pop out the light housing and then the lens that fell out can pop back in? I don’t really see a clip that locks into place. But I don’t see anything broken off either.

Otherwise with the light housing in place, there is no way to jam it back in?

Just stick it on with plastic glue.

The lens itself clips on the white housing by 4 tabs. Two are push in (males), which should go first because they fit underneath a ledge. Once those two are fitted in, the other two on the other side are pressed in gently so that they clip in-place.

Had the same thing happen on my 2019. I just glued it back on with Gorilla Glue. Or you can look it as a plot to get you to drop $155 for the Porshce letter puddle light.

I thought about that but didn’t want to have to replace all the doors.

I had the Porsche letter lights on the front doors of my 2016 and aftermarket shield lights in the rear for variety. Someone just posted a link for the sheild lights on this forum, Bums me out that nothing I added to my 2016 coulod be used on the 19. Gonnas have to list some things for the 958 since I can't use them, sigh,
