Default RS3 Analysis Scatter Plots

Come and join me to learn about the Scatter Plot Layout in Race Studio 3 Analysis. AiM is covering all the layouts in detail so users are comfortable with them and know how the various display options work. I'm going to cover the settings and then make a few different plots along with the profile for it so YOU can use these on your computer.

Details in the link. https://www.aim-sportline.com/us/doc...inars-2022.htm

That RPM/Speed scatter plot looks even better with throttle as the color channel! Looking forward.

LOL. Roger made that cover slide and coloring is one of the things we discussed. There are so many great ways to visualize data in RS3A. Using it everyday for years now, I've found so many tricks and ways to do things that are improvements over RS2. It's really fun to be able to share them and teach people how to use the software in these webinars. I'm glad you are tuning into mine and enjoy them

For Peter and everyone else that missed the webinar live, check it out. I forgot to add the video windows to the analysis profiles (doh!), but you can make them your own and add them in. It's also a great example of the power of using the TPMS system and how you can look at your data with it.

I had little time to learn RS3A while I was racing but now that I’m not any longer I’m trying to catch up. Is there a way to build a layout that decouples the scatter plots from the channels selected for the distance plots so you can have a single traction plot while simultaneously looking at for example brake, throttle, speed, and steering angle? When I tried today I had to look at four scatters, none of which included the accelerometer data.

That is the different channels in different panels. Starts right here

Thanks Matt. That’s helpful but unfortunately not what I want to do. I want to have a single scatter plot on the screen along with a time/distance plot. If I heard the podcast correctly it sounds like it currently can’t be done.

Is this what you want? It's still adding panels, selecting what you want, and then allowing different measures in panels. Hopefully this is what you wanted because I named the tab after you.

The Mike Globe layout.

That’s exactly what I want except can we call it the Mike Effing Globe layout? 🤣

The back story on the nick name is that my MX-5 Cup team gave me that nick name to “match up” with my Cup series back marker status.

That is a custom tab in the beta, so I also saved it as a profile for you. It might come up odd when you use it because the channel names are in the profile, but let me know and I'll walk you through how to do it. You can grab the profile at https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhBaYclW1XQ_newY...5Mv9A?e=BTlcQe
