This is produced by the Racelogic VBOX Video HD2, a two-camera, picture-in-picture 1080P data and video system (and from the scene, or custom background that’s been built for it to replicate the real cars dash, for a 992 GT3, most likely) that is one of the easiest systems to use and find time for users.

It’s not inexpensive, but Porsche uses uses it for all record runs (including the latest Taycan 7:07 lap at the ‘Ring) and mandates its use in Carrera Cup and SuperCup worldwide.

I was their first US dealer in 2011 and sold over 550 of this model since 2016. The latest version, the HD2 V10, features 25 Hz GPS and just a ton of channels for the latest GT3.

I recommend you buy from the company I sold my business to, Precision Driving Analytics, in Durham NC. Speak to Ray for the hardware. https://precisiondrivinganalytics.com

To get the custom screen background that works the best, contact Jacy @ShakeNBake , who is the master at the time consuming task of developing, creating and building this file that is installed once on the device.

Just connects to power, ground and two wires in the passenger footwell. I’ve been able to help more people using this tool, and they have been able to easily and between sessions help themselves, than any other system made in the last ten years.

DM if you have questions. I’m out of the hardware business and just coach in person and remotely from VIR, but this is the best tool, in my experience, to audit, review and improve your performance.

Excellent system. Porsche requires VBOX Video HD2 in Porsche Sprint Challenge, also.

Thanks for letting me know. I definitely have a few questions... too much to type, I'll ask the next time I see you.

Just curious, what's being displayed by the color coding of the four tires?

It's a teaching tool, its a projection of the acceleration force on the car on the tire that is feeling the force. So it's a visual as to how each tire is loaded. The yellow dot in the accel gauge is the inputs into the car, throttle, brake, steering. All of the info together helps you understand how your inputs are driving the reaction to and loading on the car.
