Upgraded MXL2 to 1.24.52 - no communication
I'm at Gateway in STL and upgraded my MXL2 to 1.24.52 firmware which looked to be successful. Now I can't communicate with the dash. RS3 can see it over USB and WiFi, but I can't connect.
ANy suggestions? Can I back date the firmware?
Thanks,
Greg

Pick one of the ways to connect. You can backdate the firmware. In the update screen in the button there is a button for other versions. Click that and then the one you want, say ok, then update the dash.

I just saw that AIM released 1.24.54 (5/20), only visible when you are in RS 3 and on the internet. I tried 1.24.52 and 1.245.54 on a new dash and had no issues. I am surprised that RS 3 could see the dash WIFI and you could not connect. I have had issues a couple times with defective download adapters (the short piece connected to the harness that you plug into), but that would not prevent WIFI connection. Let us know what you find

Thanks everyone. Sorry for the slow update, just got back from Gateway.
With the help of Chad at Aim tech support we isolated it down to a very old version of firmware in the LCU-One Lambda controller. For some reason it has not been getting updated with each MXL2 update. I was able to get the MXL2 to respond by disconnecting the LCU-One.
I did have the RS2/RS3 software and MXL2 firmware was out sync, but the problem persisted when they were synced up to the latest release, or latest -1. The May 18th releases do need to be updated together.
Chad thinks we need to connect the LCU-One to an older dash and update the firmware separate from the MXL2. The guys at CS Motorsports and going to give it a try this week and I'll have an opportunity to test it at the Chicago Regions DE event at Road America this weekend.
Regards,
Greg
