Ok since i bought my car i have noticed this,.

When i accelerate the whole car vibrates. It is more noticeable at lower rpms (Less than 3000rpm) and it is worse when there is more weight in the car (passengers, or luggage)

I have a few ideas, but I want to hear what people come up with first...

The car is an 87 944na Manual Trans.... Brand New tires just installed with no effect. Motor mounts in ok shape, one is better than the other.

Ok detectives get to work, if you need anymore info let me know!

Thanks

On cold november mornings, the car takes literally 5 minutes to get to the first temperature line. I have tried bleeding the system over and over again, to no avail. could this be pointing toward a waterpump failure? What other factors could lead to this happening? Are there any methods of bleeding the system that I don't know about? On the highway it dosn't overheat but I think the thermostat is not opening up around town- it has a tendancy to run hot in stop and go traffic.

There are no leaks external or internal, and the headgasket was changed 1 year ago. The timing belt is holding enough tension on the waterpump pully to not allow me to turn it, and the waterpump is moving with the pulley. One last bit of info regarding the cooling system in general that I would consider an abnormality, and thus possibly connected to the problem is that the cabin heater begins to warm up right as I start the car - not like last winter where I would have to wait untill it got warm to get any heat. I appreciate your help and I would like to get this problem solved as soon as possible.

I have been on this forum for sometime now. I have never really seen anyone talk about the PowerHaus 944 Turbo. The only reason I even remember this car is because I have the ad from the Dupont Registry it was in from like 4 years ago. I was curious if anyone on here had it or had any real info on it. I thought it was the coolest car had a different block head config along with the many mods.
If you know something about post it up.
