This is the brace just above the torsion bar tube, at the rear end of the torque tube tunnel. Trying to figure out if the side facing up in the picture should face toward the front or rear of the car? Anyone know, or have their car on jackstands now so they could take a look for me? The accuracy of boost signal from KLR vs. intake manifold, etc. has been debated before and curious to know if anyone has followed with this and tapped in somewhere else and if so did they notice a difference in readings compared to tapped at KLR?

I purchased this turbo new from Powerhaus as a K27/29 Hybrid with a #6 thermal coated hot side. It has about 6,000 miles on it. I am moving up to a larger turbo for my track car. Looking for $600 shipped OBO. Car put down 352 RWHP and 387 RWT @ 19 PSI. The turbo is still in the car, but will be removed shortly. Very clean and in excellent condition.

Split Second fuel controller is about a year old. Comes with software and installation instructions. Great addition if you are not currently using an sort of fuel management. Comes with MAF plug for Autothority unit. Not sure if the plug is universal or not. Full laptop control of fuel. $100 shipped.

I will post pictures of the fuel controller shortly. The turbo will be a few days. If anyone is hot for the turbo, I can have it out this weekend and shipped on Monday.

Hi

been around for ages but thought I would post my first post.

can you turbo an NA?..................................... sorry I could not resist

My question is a serious one, I have an 89 turdo with a kkk26/8 turbo. Car has done about 80k miles and I want to rebuild the turbo. I love my car being stock looking so want to keep my turbo housing. My question is there a way to update this 20 year old turbo with modern technology? (replace bearing carridge, thrust bearings......? not sure what it is I can do but would love to get it spooloing like a modern turbo and any other performance benefits possible)

I know I could buy a differenet turbo but I want to keep stock housing

coming from the front driver side, near the overflow. I've never had any coolant come out of there unless I just filled the cooling system and it was purging the excess. I was running the car pretty good most of the drive back home (pretty much constant 2nd/3rd/ little of 4th gear pulls. this cold dry air is awesome :burnout:) but that is not unusual so I dont think it is related.

The temp is 100% normal and I have not been loosing coolant other then this. I did notice I did not have much pressure in the cooling system - I'm thinking maybe if the cap is not holding pressure the boiling point is lower and maybe all the heat buildup at lower pressure under the hood after shutoff is contributing to it boiling out/over?

Any thoughts? I know another possibilty is blown HG, stuck thermostat, etc but I doubt (hope its not) blown HG as it was replaced a few thousand miles ago and I have kept the boost at 15psi ever since (Vitesse MAF, AFRs are good)

Alright guys, don't throw the book at me just yet! I'm thinking about doing a veedub-style '44 some time in the future. Not to my current fast-road/track car, but to a very original and mint condition car in the next couple of years. You know the style I mean right? BBS 3-piece split rims and very, very low, smoothed bodywork (side trims, rear bumper trim, door locks etc...) and perhaps a single wiper? A lot of those guys run air suspension and I see you can get it for a 951 in the states. Do you of you have any experience of this?
