Great pricing!
I'd buy one for every car I have.

Want one. When was my battery punched? Looks like it never did..

Also is there one that matches the size for a Mercedes GL?

Not sure on your old battery. Think SKU can be used to determine purchase date.

For fitment, best to measure your current battery and look for a fit from the list of Optima models available. Also check style and location of terminals.

I would also buy one for my 993 and another one for my 968 if someone could confirm the Optima model number that would work with existing battery cable configuration, thanks.

I just ran a 987.2 and got the same "we have no battery that will fit", as shown above.

That search result is typical for any model Porsche . Suggest measuring your current battery, along with terminal configuration, and look for a battery that works. This battery can be mounted on its side also.

For example, I have used the Redtop 34 or Yellow Top D34 for all my front engine Porsches, yet the Optima battery finder says no fit.

Thank you arranging this Dave!

Which one are you using with your 944?

You have to make an adapter plate. I'll be up at the shop tomorrow, and can upload a pic of the little plate that's easily fabricated.

The promo ends whichever occurs first:

December 20, 2017 or I sell out the limited quantity allowed by Optima.

Okay. I was looking for the particular model that fits in the 944 battery tray.

My car already has an optima battery in it so I assume the adapter plate exists. What is interesting is that my battery mfg date was never punched so I dont know how old it is. It would certainly help sales if more help is provided from Optima..

For the 993 folks. My optima battery which has been in the car since owning it for the past 5-6 years..
