Very nice GWagen and the Europa are especially cool. One notable benefit is the better interior that the newer versions. The 2002 -2010ish version have the low-rent C class dash and instruments. The Europas are more similar to the W124 versions - much higher quality and stood the test of time better.

Mine is. Under the hood would be the CARB stickers which is all you'll need when you take it to the DMV. But you will want to confirm that the stickers are there on this one. If not, you'd need to check the VIN.
I love mine and agree that the Europa's are a special truck. It doesn't have any of the troublesome electronics of the 2002+ that make the trucks seem dated and are service nightmares. Its very mechanical, analog switches, etc. But mercedes comfortable and quite.
Price is good, too, assuming no accident history. You couldn't have mine for near this price.

I'll be selling one of my restored Grand Wagoneers soon. I think I will give BaT a try. Let us know if yours gets "accepted" and when it is listed. The auctions can get interesting.
