1975 Porsche 914 FOR SALE
Much to my dismay, I feel I need to sell this car. I just don’t have the time for it, and hate to see it sit outside any longer.
Car currently isn’t running, has original 1.8L engine in it. H hole is in need of work, along with all floor boards. Bottom of doors has rust, as does the forward most end of the front hood. All of course is repairable, but is definitely a long term project car. Car has already been sitting, not running for about 4 years. 2+ years of that stored in a garage.
Black on Black, shows 96,307 miles on odometer. Has the center console, and windmill wheels.
Car comes with a fairly complete 2.0L spare engine. I have not run either engine, but know that they both do and will turn over fine. I just haven’t had the time to get it going.
1.8L engine number is EC043433, and 2.0L engine number is GD040291.
I purchased from a co-worker about a year ago, and I just don’t have the time to take on another car project. I forsee this car having to sit for at least another 2-3 years before I could even start on it. I really wanted to get this car back on the road, and own one of these gorgeous go-karts! I may regret selling this.
I would rather see this car go to someone who is willing to take this on as a project and get it back on the road. The car is worthy of such in my opinion. It is a complete car, and really not that bad for a project restoration.
I’m asking $1200.00 for both the car and the spare engine.
Contact me at granite944@hotmail.com for more info. Thanks!

bumping up!
Yep, things change! This car must go. The "Big D" is in my near future, and I need to regroup! MY loss, your gain, if your so inclined!
Price has dropped to any reasonable offer over $500.00. Car AND extra engine!

Why are you on the other side of the country? This is soooooooo unfair! Good luck with the sale. I am sure someone will take it. The 2.0 is worth more then that alone! Why can't something like this pop up on the east coast? Again, good luck!

Thanks guys! I'm feeling kinda sick right now! I sold 'er for a wopping $600.00, to someone who sounds like its gonna be used for a donor/parts car for another 914. YMM not EVEN known to the buyer. Oh well. Its ALL good. I got KILLED on email replies, when I put it up on Craigslist last nite. Sold it by 10:30 this morning. First person who came and saw it! I really would have wanted a Rennlister or Pelicanite to have gotten it.
I just wish I could have kept it long enough to DO something with it!

That Craigslist is really the way to sell a car! i put my 230SL Mercedes on it the day after christmas and had 43 emails by the next morning. I also sold it to the first person that emailed.
Sorry about the divorce. Been there got the tee shirt and now 2 Porsches!
