Hey Norm, How are things. Is that your car for sale on NNJR?
I too am having a problem selling a very clean S2 and everyone seems to want something for nothing. I am sure Tom's car is spot on. He is as straight a shooter as there is on Rennlist and I am sure the car is worth every penny.
Then again some would say our S2's are only worth $6k

A few weeks ago I thought about telling Norm his S2 was only worth $6k. Thought about it for a millisecond, then decided my credibility had some value.
I also thought about telling him that brand new Cayman S in front of him was only worth about 35K. Thought about it for a millisecond, then decided my credibility had some value, plus I don't have 35k to spend.
I put the $2500 Plus in the ad to get potential buyers to think. So many people will drop $3000 on a car with the original clutch and in need of belts. add the tune up parts, motor mounts etc. etc. and they have a car with more miles than mine, with some areas repainted because of an accident, etc. dont forget the little chips in the windshield that all cars get that can only be cured with a new windshield.
I am not in a rush to sell it for a lot less than it is worth.
I just got the $100 a year exotic insurance for the NA 2.7, and got something from a credit card offering 0% interest. So if i sit on the NA for a while waiting for a real offer to come in it wont cost me an arm and a leg. The car is currently on my lawn so now my pesky neighbors cant complain.
I used to park my car in the driveway of the guy that lives across the street from me. He and his wife only come out for weekends in the summer. It made it look like someone lived there. I also shoveled his walk when it snowed. He thanked me for doing that. Then one day his wife told me I had no right to park in her driveway. Now I park on the lawn across the street from her window. I also tell all the kids from the "other side of the tracks" that come over to shovel not to wait for an answer when they ring the bell because the house is empty all winter.

Tom, you can just give it to me. I mean, that would be a hell of a nice gesture
