Default Early 944 seats - recovered

I bought these from Eyal951 last year for my mom's 944. I installed them, she didn't like how they felt, so I took them out the next day. They've been sitting around ever since!

The reason she didn't like them is they feel a little squishy, compared to her rock-hard dried-up leather seats. I used to have Porsche-script seats in my old 944... these seats feel like those did.

Anyway I bought them for $275 and used them for all of 1 day, so I'm trying to get all my money back. I'll consider offers.

These seats are in San Francisco, but I can bring them to SoCal on one of my monthly trips to Riverside. Thanks!

I'm leaving for socal in 2 hours... If anyone in socal, Las Vegas, etc. wants really nice seats, and wants to avoid shipping costs, here's your chance.

Arash, how much for the beautiful red rug in the background?

Actually i'd feel bad putting that in our house with the baby on the way. Gonna have to put away the good rugs for a while.

The rug isn't all that valuable - we got it at a local flea market for something like $30. It's Afghani, which to a Persian means it's 2nd-rate garbage . It's fun to use them though because they look nice and one need not worry about preserving them.

The Persian rugs are in the living room and dining room. If I ever put car parts on those, my mom would decapitate me, Highlander-style.

You should make some mounts to use them as chairs in the house if no one buys them.

When ckathens moved out from San Francisco, he gave me some spare seats (thanks!), and one was a script seat. I can't use a single script seat in the car, so I'll be making that into my new computer chair. I'll have to fashion some armrests...

Ouch! Our three are all Persian but in varying conditions and all geometric style. I have no problem with a good Afghani rug. Maybe i need to start visiting flea markets.

Haha that's great! Be sure to post pics when youve completed it. Hopefully that bent 4 way turbo seat will come in handy some day - perhaps as parts for another otherwise good seat.

I used the top from the passenger seat and put it on the bent driver seat bottom. It took a lot of forcing and leaning on it, but I got it to bolt up. It still looks lopsided, but the seats in our 944 right now are absolutely thrashed. i don't think a little seat leanage will be an issue so I'll try using it.

Now I have these great vinyl seats that I won't use... so would someone like to ****** 'em?
