Default Happy Thanksgiving Eric Sandoval!

You have stolen $650 from me and my family. We could really use it back this holiday season. The cars were going to be a gift for my son.

Now I am looking at Christmas. I have 4 kids and my construction business is dead. I could really use the money back in my household. Times are very tight and I cannot afford to have my money kept by you.

I am prepared to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

You have lied to me at least 6 times. You have even posted that you have mailed my check. I have waited almost a month and you have told me several times it was already out.

Eric what is going on with you. Your friends backed you up and said you were a stand up guy.

What will people think now? DO YOU CARE? Why rip off me?

Happy Thanksgiving. I am thinking of you today.

It is surprising how a bench warrant can bite someone when they least expect it.

In the previous thread, John D asked that this be handled offline directly with him or Randy. Here's the link in case you missed it: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...=454012&page=3 . Thread closed.

I don't think it's fair to continually close his threads when he - and others - still have unresolved issues with this seller - do you?

No but this matter should be taken care of privately. Regardless of what's happened, this sort of thing should not be taken care of on the public forums.

I dont see why it should be handled privately?? When there is a possible scam artist of a seller, I sure as hell want to know about it. I wouldnt want to be the next guy that didnt read his threads and fell right into that trap again.

Take it from someone who was scammed out of $8500 by a fellow rennlister(thank you again everyone for the hard work to catch this guy!), I'd want to know and it will keep future scammers from preying on this site if they see that the threads are kept public

Knowing is one thing, but considering that quite a few individuals already know the situation (and the original thread is here for everyone to see) I don't see how this solves anything.

How about individuals like myself who was not aware that this was cooking.
I am sure all attempts were made to solve this privately before the individual posted it on rennlist.
Thanks for the heads up.

Exactly. We attempt to protect the community at-large, not shield individuals who appear to not fullfill their end of a deal.

I suggest you consider staying out of matters that do not directly concern you, Darwin.

what do Eric's friends (ones that vouched for him previously) have to say about the matter? I am not involved but am concerned about a member scamming another and having others vouch for him and months later Massguy still out $$$. I feel bad for him and his family (he sold one car so far and is selling another) being taken advanatage of on rennlist when they need the money for holiday season.

I don't get it, his profile says:

Last Activity: Yesterday 11:42 AM

But he doesn't respond to MassGuy?

SANDOVAL, you posted:
Why don't you get it from the Police investigator you had call me today? Like I told you on the phone, I have no intention of communicating with you. Refund was mailed, I am eager to get you out of my life and move on.

How was the refund mailed? Tracking number?

And if a check was sent for the refund, how hard is it to check if it was cashed or not?

Obviously, if the refund check wasn't cashed, just stop payment and sent another overnite...

And if the check was cashed, Eric, you're in the clear...

This isn't expected from a RL Member with 1537 posts, and a paid member at that

IMHO

I know, I know, it doesn't involve me, but we're all part of the same community
