Remember the mattell/patriot computers from 98-00? They made the Barbie and Hot Wheels desktop PC's. I have got one in very good condition that i upgraded the cpu and memory to the max, added a wifi card and upgraded to XP pro. As of right now its still very useable, but in about 5 years it will be even more of a collector. I have all of the original '98 software, games, game controller, input devices, but not the original digital cam. Anyone else have one? i know they went bankrupt and some got burnt! :

Hehe, actually it was my daughters MAZING christmas gift 3 years ago. i hate to get rid of it and its like new but she needs something newer. Im on it right now typing. Its up to date and damn cute for girls, silver with flowers on everything (key, mouse, pad, CRT, mini tower) its nice eye candy for a little girls room.

Actually they were going for $500! on sleeze bay last few years. I found the even more rare hot wheels one at a flea market for $400 in worse shape.

If you really like it, you could have someone put in a new motherboard and processor and it would be as good as a new computer or you can do it yourself. If it is a smaller case you may have to find a small motherboard. What I'd do is take apart a new Mac Mini and put the guts into the Barbie computer if I really liked it. Or just sell it like you said...

I already thought about upgrading the mobo/cpu , I already did cpu, mem and os. I didnt want to take it to far from original just incase one of those crazy Barbie collectors wanted it.
