I've driven An RS6 a number of times (worked for Audi in 2003). As much as I'm not a fan of automatics, this particular engine would be hard to drive with a manual box. Too much torque. The entire car feels like it's twisting when you step on the gas. It would need some seriously tough clutch.

RS6 is very much a muscle car.

is the RS6 drivetrain really that crappy? If an STI drivetrain can take that much torque basically in stock spec, the RS6 can't? That would suck.

this car makes 413 lb ft from 1950 to 5600...
with this much torque/band the engine is better suited to an auto tranny...
the drivetrain can 'take it'

I want this car...badly
