Wow, for those of you who have not been following 944/968 V8 conversions, Tom is the V8 conversion Guru. If you want to look up his Excellence article from several years back you will get a sense of his expertise and attention to detail. I know this car well and was able to drive it a year or so ago. It's a super easy drive and a real wolf in sheep's clothing.
If you are thinking about doing a conversion, save yourself a great deal of time and effort, this is a turn key machine.

Was this car grey at one time? If it was I loved the look of the old configuration - especially with the cobra seats. If not, what happened to the other car? And are the Cobra Misano seats mentioned here the same as the ones in the grey car?

I'm about 99% sure I've met Tom at Racer's Edge (Tom, I'm Karl's business partner with the oils). And if so, I'm also 99% sure I've seen one of his 968's, probably somewhere around 2008. And I'll say this, the craftsmanship on his conversions is without question the absolute best I've seen.

Grey car was involved in an accident I replaced the chassis with this one and made several upgrades/changes. Cobra seats are the same from the grey car.
Headlights are Hellas H9 halogen. Housings are custom metal fab built into fenders.
Hate to sell this car but need $ for a business opportunity.
