FS: 1990 BMW K75S cafe racer
1990 BMW K75S that has been stripped down to a cross between a street fighter / cafe racer. Bike is in perfect working order with no known issues and has adhered to regular maintenance schedule. Bike has less than 40,000 miles.
If you are looking for a K75 to restore to its original form, this is not your bike. If you want a truly unique and fun to ride bike that's a head turner and draws compliments everywhere you take it, look no further.
List of modifications:
- removal of windscreen, saddle bag mounts, front and side fairings, rear seat
- Frame has been cut to accommodate new rear cowl and seat
- Custom sheet metal rear cowl and leather seat
- Upgrade to stainless front brake lines
- New cafe style headlight
- Modified front fairing
- Modified rear mid guard
- LED rear brake light strip under cowl
- LED front turn signals
- Clip on handlebars
- Modified metal and rubber handgrips mounted on clip on handlebars
- Removal of instrument cluster
- Front of bike has been lowered 2"
- Ignition switch relocated to side of bike
- Metal mesh side fairings installed
- Bike painted matte blue (Plastidip and easily removable)
- Wheels, exhaust system painted matte black
- Metal tabs remove from multiple points on bike and sanded down to streamline frame
Bike is located in Chicago, IL. I am only selling as I am moving and need to downsize my fleet of vehicles due to space constraints. Bike comes with original BMW tool kit and owners manual. I will also include Clymers manual, full service records from myself and prior owner and hand bleeder for bleeding brakes.
Asking $4,500. Cash only, local pickup. Not interested in trades as I don't have the space for a bike. Please reach out with any questions.

From what I can see, this bike is not street legal, right?
Is the wiring harness still intact, should anyone want to install brake light and blinkers?
Date codes on the tires?
TIA

Wiring harness is still intact. brake lights / turn signals are all LED and located under the seat cowl - very bright and visible from behind.
I will get the tire dates for you as well
