Permatex winshield repair sealed 3/5 branches of a star
rock hit my windshield and made a star with 5 branches. Each of the branches/cracks was about 3/4" long. I used a permatex windshield repair kit and surprisingly it took care of 3 of the 5 branches/cracks.
now my question is whether a second permatex would be worth trying to seal up the remaining two branches/cracks or if a windshield repair kit is a one-shot deal and whatever it fixes is whatever it fixes?

Yes, I've done this. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't but it harmless if it doesn't. Make sure that any minuscule debris is out of the remaining cracks to maximize your chances of success - scrub with a toothbrush and clean thoroughly with isoproprpyl alcohol before trying second repair.
