NOT 997 related! Pretty insane meetup
A Local meetup off the 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch. The only thing that could have made it better is if they meet at a Wing Stop.

Honestly it made me cringe. Not my cup of tea to use other vehicles as autocross cones.
It's something I'm used to seeing from Ferrari & Lambo owners, but not Porsche.
But I guess it's now the norm for brand new 992 GT3RS owners. I'm willing to bet most of those RS owners also own brand new F & L cars too.
Once they were further out & down the highway, it seemed like they did Ok. But when they first ran up the onramp & had to cut folks off just to get position,... that's where they lost me.
Sorry to any of you reading this, that were drivers from that event,... but I feel the need to call it out.
I will however, refrain from using the stereotypical paraphrases that most use to describe these type of highway antics. So at least I'll take the high road from that standpoint.
peace out.

Early weekend morning on the 118 and the 5 didn’t seem like any traffic and I didn’t see any of them doing anything out of the ordinary. Seemed pretty tame for Los Angeles. All the cars seemed like Supercars a Tesla and a few trucks.
The entire freeway was Porsche GT cars which is a pretty epic sighting.

Did I land in the air-cooled subform.
Early Saturday am drive to SCC&C seems like some harmless fun. Why the hate for the 992 crowd?

8 minutes into vid. ... entering the freeway, esp the last merge in by the TTS videographer who is clearly holding his camera while doing that maneuver.
I guess the more aggressive lane changes on highways while holding objects in one hand are acceptable ... not here,... hence my cringe. YMMV as Ranger said

That last lane change in front of the pickup truck would rate a 2 or 3 on a 1 to 10 scale for dikhead moves in So Cal. It's a war zone out here on the freeways. LA freeways are not for the faint of heart. All in all those enthusiasts looked to be having a fun time and we should not cast stones as I'm sure we have all goosed our cars on the streets once or twice.
Let me post this over on the 992 GT forums and see what kind of feedback I get. I kid I kid.
