Default Adding MOTEC to a 981CS

@ProCoach or others... If I get a 981CS that doesn't have a MOTEC dash, do I simply purchase a C125 and connect/mount it? Or is there more to it?

The car I'm looking at only has an Aim SoloDL and SmartyCam installed currently.

Default digital dash 981 cs

I'm not trying to highjack your thread, but I also bought a 981cs with only the stock analog dash. I'd like to add a configurable digital dash. I'd like one in front of the steering wheel, not in the center of dash.
What are the best options, and how difficult to connect? Motec? AIM? Something else?

If you contact Joe Hullet (http://www.digitalcompetitionsystems.com/)
, he can sell you a C125 kit that will be plug and play. Motec software is, in my view, vastly superior to AIM. The aim dash is nearly as good as the Motec dash, but less customizable. But it’s also much much simpler. So if you just want the dash, aim is great. If you wanna do deep post session analysis, Motec is better.

I have a C125 dash (programed for the 981 clubsport), harness (for the clubsport), and antenna that I purchased from Joe Hullet for my 981, shoot me a PM if interested in purchasing. I'd also recommend getting the power distribution box from PMNA, makes overall installation easier and easier for powering other things
