Dunlop Sport Maxx Race Tires Kaput?

Both tyres are available in the UK now - see the Camskill website. Both N1 both cheaper than Cup2s. If orthojoe says their good - i font know him, only his good standing on these forums - this is good news!

Rear tyres same money as Cup2s but fronts are 50% cheaper than Cups2s - I have no clue why that is the case. I will switch to Dunlops in the next change.

I should mention 2 'issues' I have seen with the Dunlops
1). Some people have had delamination issues with the tire. I have not, but there are reports out there
2). Some people don't like the feel of the tire compare to cup2.
I can tell you I've run PBs 30 minutes into a session and matched PBs 3 days/15 cycles into the tires. Impossible with the cup2.
These tires work well with heat and like higher pressures. They do take longer to warm up than cup 2.

The Dunlop maxx race 2 are a totally different tire from the original Dunlops. They are seriously the best track tire available for these cars, without a single doubt. Cup2 are absolute garbage. I despise Cup2. Cup2 are fast for one session and then fall apart more and more each subsequent session. Each session Cup2 are fast for 3 laps and then fall apart. Worthless tires unless you want one try to run a super fast lap on new tires. That is the only time they are faster than Dunlops.
Dunlop maxx race 2 are just as fast as day one as they are when they cord. Dunlop maxx race 2 can run fast laps the entire session without any drop. The tires behave very much like toyoRR.
Dunlop sport maxx race 2 are superior to cup2. Period.

None the less I am happy that the Maxx Race 2 give nothing away to the Cup2!

I prefer the adhesion of the Dunlops as I think it is superior to the MPS2s but wear and cost are the downside.
Then again, they are tires - they are consumables
