Had a photoshoot done with a 718 GT4
Unfortunately no driving impressions of the car(we didn't swap cars to test and it was late with tons of LA traffic).
Figured I would share some professional photos of a Miami Blue GT4 that I just did a photoshoot with. I'm the owner of the Birch Green GT4 and my Instagram is https://www.instagram.com/gt4la/

It's the style. When you're designing a car, you can't have an uninterrupted curve or a continuous surface anymore. Gotta add a crease or a line or an outcropping or a scoop or a bulge or a divot or...

The 718 looks great and aggressive. The tail lights and Porsche bar look incredibly cheap though.

Both cars extremely nice. It’s interesting how similar they look to me, though. Look like the same car at a glance, and you have to really look at details to spot the differences. I know the shoot only captures a couple of angles, but from those ones the cars look very similar. Especially from the front

Very cool seeing them side by side. I am surprised how much I like the front of the 718 with the new splitter, I think it looks great. That said, the rear of the 981 is SO much better looking IMO. Everything about it looks better from behind.

Three Wheelin'
I like how cohesive the design is on the 981, with the smooth flowing design and reserve aero details (but Phil, take off that metal diffuser when not on the track, it looks too tacked on and tunerish!). The facelift Porsche models always look less cohesive to me (997.2, 991.2, etc.)
I like how the 718 exterior is more nipped and tucked, a bit sharper, more futuristic. And the wheels are nicer than the stock 981 ones.
Hard to pick IMO.

Great side by side pic to see the tweaks and differences. Both designs are eye catching. Would have been nice for the 718 to stick with the center exhaust exit like the 981 and rest of the GT car lineage.
