Agreed. I'm going the same route.

I like Focals for the car, but never quite warmed to them at home...then again, I grew up in a house with 6 foot Martin Logans.

No PCM for me since I don't need navigation in such a car. I may order the CDR Plus just for the higher resolution screen.

If you order navigation in the Cayman, does one of the dials in the dash function as a moving map? Or is this something relegated to the 911? I always thought that was a really cool feature, it's presence could sway me.

My dad has had his Sequels for about 20+ years.

When I moved to California, I got a quick job building home theaters and earned enough ML points to get myself a pair of Motions with a Depth i. The Depth i really carries the speakers. I wish I had enough at the time to spring for the Summits.

get the summit x. i have a pair and very happy with them.
great speaker, very transparent, fast, superb detail and imaging, open top-end with the right amp, easy-ish load, very good bass extension and integration into the esl panel. cheaper than clx, goes down lower without having to get extra subs, and easier to integrate into most rooms.
only thing it lacks is a 'touch of warmth', but you can inject that with the right amp and cables.
it is quite a big step up from the montis.

Yes, that works the same way in a Cayman.
