Default Anodized Black Bushed AL Trim

The black trim is NOT black. It is more of a Ti color. These pics from my car, quickly taken yesterday just after it came off the truck. Taking delivery today. It's not what I expected, but I like it over the standard brighter trim.

Yes, I do also. I saw this trim in a CGTS I test drove, liked the combination of black leather above and Alcatera below so I speced my car with the dark AL too.

Agreed, the photos above appear to be the standard trim. The 'black' AL is darker but is not really a dark black color.

It is indeed the 'black' trim. I compared it side by side to another GT4 with standard trim. Four cars were unloaded yesterday and two had the 'black' trim, the other two had standard. 'Black' is a bit darker than standard, with a flatter, non reflective finish.

Thanks for this. Wow, that looks nothing like the 991 GTS black aluminum trim, nor what the 3D configurator suggests. If you didn't have another car with standard trim to compare with, I'd have bet that your order was built incorrectly. Any chance of taking more photos in less bright lighting to better gauge the difference compared to the standard trim? I think it would be very helpful to those of us whose orders are not yet locked.

Interesting. Perhaps its the lighting but that looks NOTHING like the black trim I've seen in a 991 and to my eye, I would have guessed it's the standard trim.

Thanks for sharing your photos!

Well that sucks, I wanted black black, not silver "black".

I have it and yes, it's still silver, but not as in your face bright as regular silver... I quite like it...

I don't see much of a change at all, would love to see side by side pics.

Found this photo from a regular 981 on P9 which again looks very black. Did Porsche create a GT4-specific (not really) black aluminum trim???

That's so dark it looks like the black leather option.

This thread makes no sense. Here is proof that GT4s were delivered in other countries with the darker brushed aluminum. Maybe it's just the light (look at the driver side door for example)

i have it on mine and it is not silver. It is more like a those 3 pictures above. A light pewter color is most accurate.
