not exactly a flattering pic.. I swear my sweater was bunching up cause I don't have a pouch (ok, starting a diet).. Anyway.. It happened.
Nothing I say here will be new.. So I'll spare the OMG impressions. I'll just limit myself to "OMG the proportions are so much more beautiful in real life.. What a classic!!!!!!"
The day was Topped off by a wonderful and wonderfully unexpected call from Stout, who provided me with some much appreciated Porsche connoisseur perspective on the Spyder. Perfect day... Happiest man on earth.
Tomorrow.. Rain or shine it's top-down drive with the fiancée up hwy 1 along the coast from San Francisco until the gas runs out.. Gonna break it in west-coast style.
Looking forward to some group drive with people on here .. Thank you all and goodnight.

thanks guys.. much appreciated.
i know she is just the same as everyone else's, but it feels so incredibly special and unique when it's your first modern Porsche. My SA confirmed that the inner door sills are in fact black leather.. a very minor disappointment as I was hoping they were going to be red.. a minor minor gamble which went against me. Oh well.. still exciting. I'll share pics and video with sound again once we have completed a few of the mods like the pepita inserts, GT4 scoops, custom CA heritage plates, and the Fabspeed headers which are coming.
I will be acheing to drive her when i pick her up monday but she will go first thing to get the clear bra installed. must be disciplined...argh!!!
