Default New Spyder

I ended up picking up a black 2016 Spyder today. Never was the plan to buy one, as I already have a GT4 & 991 GT3, but I walked into Sunset Porsche few days ago to pick up my car from service, and I saw it sitting in the show room and fell in love, so I decided to grab it. Just an impuls buy, but glad I did. So she now joins her sisters GT4 & GT3 and keeps them company.

Have not had much time driving the car, but from the little time I spent driving it, it really is a great experience. Mostly It feels much lighter than the GT4, has quicker steering, quick on its feel, and feels more alive, although I prefer the GT4 steering, but it really ain't bad at all.

After spending more time behind the wheel, I will be sharing with you my driving impressions and how it compares to the GT4. Mark

Thanks Nick. I guess it will be coming to you very soon. By the way I found out it does have the same PCM as GT4 with Bose surround and also a reversing camera. The window sticker never mentioned anything about a PCM, but the car has it. Mark

Did you get any deal on it from Sunset? I hope to be picking my spyder up from them in a couple weeks.

That Spyder looks great. Imo, one of the nicest looking modern Porsches and also the most underrated.

Yes I got it below MSRP, which made my decision to get it easy. Congratulations in advance on yours and hopefully you get it very soon. Mark

Thanks Mark. By the way I saw your car at Musicar last week while I went back to add a third sensor in the front. Your car looked amazing. I never thought the Carmine Red would look so good. Really beautiful car. I also liked your license plate, and was amazed you were able to grab that number. Mark

Mark, love the tinted/clear rear lenses, particularly on a black car. Super nice!

As a fellow Spyder owner I'm always anxious to hear comparisons to the GT4 so will be looking forward to your thoughts once you have had more time behind the wheel.

Enjoy and congrats!
