Default Brake noise from new GT4

Anyone know why I should get a lot of brake squeak from the rotors on a new GT4?

I haven't had much noise from the GT4 but the same brakes on the GT3 make a bit of squeal sometimes. It's common and is more a function of the pads than the rotors. I'm saying this based on the cast iron rotors not PCCBs. In other models of Porsches the brakes also have anti squeal shims. The GTs don't use these. Usually if you do a few hard brakes - like when bedding in brakes they will quiet down for a while. I can't recall the wording in the GT4 owners manual but pretty sure there is some disclaimer in the GT3 manual that the brakes will sometimes make some noise.

Not sure if it's relevant - I've got a Cayman GTS - and when it was new the brakes squealed for the first 100-200 miles and then settled in. Dealer actually warned me about that before I drove the car off the lot. If you've got the standard (not PCCB) brakes, maybe that's what you're running into?
