2016 turbo had a glitch with the radio/monitor. Back a year ago, it would go on all by itself, then go off after several mn. SO annoying on a long trip...... I took in and the dealer "did something" and it worked for about a year.

Its back, dealer says he will replace. Wondering if any one else has had an issue like this, and if its possible to upgrade to apple play?

My wife just called me on her way to work. Radio is going on and off. Screen displays "Porsche" "Macan S". Multiple reports of similar on the Macan forum but I don't see any posts for a solution or fault.

I believe you can pay to upgrade to the the Porsche Connect or Connect Plus option which gives you Apple CarPlay, if you didn't get those options initially.....I think it's just a software upgrade, and there's no additional H/W needed in the PCM?

You can buy Apple Play and add it. I forgot to spec it on my build. About 8 parts and a disc. ~$980 in parts. Now I need to get it installed!
