Is that their first offer, the insurance company always go low to start with. The way to look at is can you replace a 2016 S with 18,500 miles for $46,700, ??
Depending on Options and color it probably over $50,000

KBB pricing always seems to be somewhat high.
What does NADA say about your trade value. The NADA pricing is more down to Earth - and closer to what dealers offer.

NADA shows Average Trade-in for a 2016 Macan S with 18000 miles to be $39600. That is with NO OPTIONS.
Since you did not include the S's options list, that is all I had to go on.
Feel free to visit the NADA site yourself and try to come up with a more accurate figure (nadaguides.com).
As the filling stations in Arkansas used to say, "Hep-Ur-Sef".

Yes, values on KBB are higher than the other sources but seems that dealers in Omaha go by KBB. I traded in a 2013 BMW X1, 2008 VW R32, and 2002 996TT last year on my Macan GTS and got KBB excellent condition trade in value on all three without a fight. This past May I traded in my 2016 BMW X5d on a new 2018 Ford F-150 and got KBB excellent condition on that as well. That one took some arm wrestling as they were starting out at the average condition value but I got them up. When I traded my 2007 VW Touareg V10 TDI for my X5 back in 2016 got KBB excellent for that too.
