Anyone got aftermarket wheels on a Macan?
Would love to see if anyone running aftermarket wheels (and or springs) on a Macan.
There's a really nicely done up one running around in my neighborhood but I can't seem to catch it for long enough to take a picture!
Please post up what you got and brand / spec of wheels!

When shopping for Macan wheels, be aware the bolt pattern is different than all other Porsches which aren5x130. The Macan uses an Audi pattern of 5x112.

Looking at these 19" for my summer wear when they become available in the Spring. The OEM rims will remain on the winter Nokian Hakka 9 studded

I understand dealerships wanting you to buy Porsche OEM wheels, but my service guy says that not all wheels are made equally and that I there could be potential warranty issues with non-OEM wheels on a Porsche. Does anybody have any feel for this as a real issue?

Absolutely, and don't forget to change the oil in your rear view mirrors at your dealer's every 2k miles. Seriously?
Yes, of course there are different quality wheels, religious discussions of forged vs cast or single vs multiple part rims but to say that you're risking your life or that your warranty will be void because you don't have a Porsche rim is just FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) spread by dealers to get you to fork over thousands more. If you believe that, I've got a skiing resort in Florida with your name in lights for sale.

FWIW I’ve seen inexpensive wheels crack and break on the racetrack with guys doing de (not racing).
a Macan won’t see those forces....
but there have been issues on cheap Chinese made wheels.

checkout hre flow form which are cast but quality made. Bbs makes a line of cast wheels also. They are more than the eBay wheels but a lot less than oem.
tire tack also has several choices from well known makes that have the right load ratings for these cars.

Of course Spyerx I wasn't talking about cheap knock offs and making sure load of vehicle is supported. As you mention and is obvious I doubt Macan owners will ever perform or subject their vehicles to lateral and G forces the 911/Cayman/Boxster folks may. Furthermore, I wonder even how many actually take them seriously off road.
But a general statement like "if you don't buy an OEM rim (by a dealer) is risky and may void your warranty" is just fear mongering, IMHO of course

PS Just went to the BBS site, they don't seem to make any 19" rims for the Macan

Somewhat related question. Anyone know what the 20” OEM RS Spyder wheels weigh? If shopping for a second set of wheels, I’d like to know if I’m getting heavier wheels or not.

2016 Turbo, AGL16 three piece forged wheels, Factory ordered / painted Porsche Jet Black Metallic to match car, 21X9 front 21X10.5 rear (gives a little sportier stance), 20mm spacer on rear, Porsche center caps located on EBAY, HR Lowering springs PASM,
Pricey... but they make me big smile!

How come the spacer in the rear? The Avant Garde AGL16 is a custom built 3-piece wheels which should eliminate the need for a spacer on these.

You are correct!
It just so happened that the spacers were already on the car with the previous stock 21" Turbo Wheels, and while I was sitting in the installer waiting room sipping coffee, the installer put the spacers back on with the AGLs,
I liked the look, but will likely take a look without the spacers when I get time to play with it as was intended. Got some 15mm ones in the garage I may play with as well. High end hub centric spacers so no concerns with performance.
So to answer your question. No good reason, just playing around,
