2020 Macan S, leak from the front bumper area
Noticed some fluid seeping out from the seam between the lower front spoiler and the painted bumper. Car has been sitting still for two weeks and this is the 2nd time in those two weeks I've seen and cleaned this up. The car is kept outside and it hasn't rained so it can't be runoff gunk from that.
The fluid is clear, a bit slimy with a yellowish tinge on a paper towel. Smells very strange, nothing like a hard chemical that I can ID. It almost looks like brake fluid but no way a brake line can be routed that forward in the car. The only thing I can see behind that area is one of the radiators. Checked brake and coolant levels in their containers, all seem fine. Any idea what else could be behind this area? Heading to the dealer this Friday to have them check it out. Twice in two weeks could mean something is getting worse.
Thanks,
-Pete

Where are you seeing the radiators? If on the far left & right, then those are the intercoolers for the turbo(s).
Try tasting (no swallowing!) the fluid. If it's coolant, it should be sweet. That's why it's dangerous to leave drained coolant out because
a dog will lap it up.
Try rubbing it between your fingers, if it's slippery, then it's either coolant or oil.
Your best bet is to drive the front up onto some ramps and remove the undertray (15 Torx screws and 2 large push pins (trim removal tool)). Then you'll
be able to see the underside of the front of the engine and get a better idea what's going on.
2020 Macan - shouldn't be leaking anything...
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply @PSEE !
Speaking with some others who have seen the photos, the possibility of an animal or stray cat spraying that area has been brought up. The car is outside and I have seen cats wandering around. Why would they always spray the same area is my question. The fluid would run off the paint and collect in the seam and continue to drip down.
If you look on the left side of the drip, there are a few drops of fluid with no trail coming down from the seam area. That could indicate someone sprayed on from the outside.
Regardless, I have been an oil change with my dealer on Friday and will have then look with the panels off.

Yep, I have the same problem with the neighbors cat when I leave the car parked out front. Also should note that both myself and the prior owner had an under hood rodent problem.

Panels under the car pulled off, no fluid behind there. Going to spray that area with some vinegar to hopefully discourage further territory markings...
