Best CTEK charger for 2021 GTS

I drive into the garage, turn the car off, open the door, pick up my CTEK plug, put it in the cigarette lighter, close the door, and plug it into the power source. None of all this other stuff you have talked about. As long as it is within that period when power is still being supplied to the cigarette lighter(probably ten minutes) I am good to go.

I got the Porsche one from their parts dept. $230, I think. Not a model number anywhere on the unit or the manual. Except in fine print, "Assembled in China". Has the red adapter for cig lighter. Works well. Next week will have to leave car outside Son's garage in 20º overnight, so plan to use it.

I purchased the CTEK US 7002, extension cable, and cigarette lighter adapter. One more question. When using the lighter adapter, do you run the extension connector through a slightly open window, or under the door? I don’t want to damage the connector or the sill plate. Thanks.

I use my CTEK MXS 5.0 on my 2012 CCT. Easiest for me is to use the cigarette plug near the rear hatch opening. Then close the hatch door on it. Been working fine for 10+ years.

away for a week? I wouldn't bother. You will be fine.
If your battery dies over a week in your car, you need a new battery. First cold day it is going to leave your stranded.
I do put all my vehicles unused vehicles on a tender for 3+ months.
2021 GTS? You're well covered.
