FYI this also works on Android phones, at least on my Samsung S21. It charges fine but I had to add a Magsafe ring to the back of the case to secure it to the charger.

Another vote for the Nine-Volt solution. Simple plug and play. Magnet is strong.

I have this and while it looks alright, it sticks a little too high up in the air. not worth the 160 they are asking, especially since it uses apple's MagSafe which has weaker magnets (pops off too easily)

I can literally turn G's in my cars with their mounts and not have my phone slide off.

yes, but cups and other things that find their way into the cup holder will often bump it off the apple MagSafe.

I rotate the phone horizontally when I have items in the cup holder.

yes it does work that way, it's still not as clean a solution as I was hoping. the charger mount is bigger than I was hoping. when the phone isn't on the charger, the charger is a bit unsightly to look at. a more slim/black solution is what I think would be best.
