Been rolling with this in the Macan. Pretty slick.

Do you have a link to the actual product? Thanks.

Just an FYI. I emailed the company nine-volt to get some pics of the whole product… side view, underside…to see how it is connected…. They said they have none available. Seem strange they can’t provide pics of their product? I’ve asked again. Will provide update.

Edit. Got this link. It helps to understand the setup better.

Doesn't look like you have to have the smokers package to use this. Non smoker package on my 2018 and I have a plug there.

All--I emailed the company to see about those of us ordering a 2022. They responded back quickly to let us know that they are going to have to get their hands on a 2022 to see what changes will be required with the changes....so, they are not ruling it out but there is nothing in the near future to be released.

Or you could spec the Porsche charging cradle option, which uses the roof antenna for better wireless reception.

I have not noticed the better reception, but not paid much attention either. The phone over heated once in the 10K miles since new. Once too many, so now I pay attention to slightest sign of overheating. I doubt Porsche would buy me a new iPhone.

Yeah, initially, my build had the charger in it. But I read too much about phone overheating. Plus, my iPhone has an Otterbox case on it, so wireless chargers no longer work for it unless it is the MagSafe charger--which works fine.

So, started looking for alternatives for the Porsche-optioned wireless charger.

Thanks W, hadn't thought about the case. Though mine is charging just fine. Appears to be just a thin Apple standard case.
The only time it heated up, I may have been using CarPlay music and Apple Nav at the same time. Just guessing.
Good enough. Wife should have a battle tested mil spec case, the way she treats her phone.
