Default Air suspension running after locking car

Just pulled my wife’s 2017 Macan GTS into the garage, closed the door and locked it. The air suspension started pretty immediately adjusting something with a buzzing noise. Did not seem to lower or raise though. Stopped after a while, but seemed a pretty long while. Then I unlocked the car and immediately locked it again with the key. Did not even open the door, but immediately the buzzing sound started up again…This has been going on even before the car had a major service.
Does not seem normal. Is it?

Mine does about the same when I park after driving, but not in just locking , unlocking? Try deactivating the self leveling and see if it does the same thing ?

Sounds like an air leak somewhere...which causes the compressor to run excessively.

Our 4 month old 2021 Macan Turbo does the same thing, but not just after being locked or unlocked.

Happy Easter,
TT

Totally normal. The vehicle levels itself once shut off and the door is closed.

Thank you all for the responses. So it’s either normal or may be an air leak. Since it seems to ride normally, and level as far as I can tell, and raising or lowering it, including for loading with the button in the trunk, work perfectly normal, I tend towards assessing it as „normal“ then…but will monitor more closely, and have them take a look next time I take it in for service.
Would an air leak trigger a fault code in the system or is this something that can only be detected by physically inspecting and testing for it?

Mine will buzz a little after exiting the car, and every so often it will just randomly do it when I open/close a door when the car is off. Usually if I look close, I can see it lowering a little.

The service manager at Porsche Melbourne told me that this was normal...

There's a fine line between "normal" and "something wrong". It's normal for it to relevel itself for a couple of seconds. It's not normal for it to run for several seconds seemingly not knowing what position to stop at. On my 2018, after only about 6 months of brand new ownership, mine went from the normal self leveling to running longer to the point of the compressor making garbage disposal grinding sounds for a couple of seconds. Then I would get random PASM fault warnings when driving in sport mode. Dealership couldn't figure it out at first. They thought it was loose pin connections which they redid. Problems resumed a week later culminating in the suspension raising the front all the way and dropping the rear all the way after I parked it in my garage. I could force it to reset by pressing the ride height button and leaving it in standard mode. Dealer finally figured out it was a bad valve body in the compressor and replaced the compressor. Car has been fine since. It still does the self leveling adjustments for a second or two like normal but nothing extreme. It should be clear when the compressor is running too much.
