My 2015 Macan S rear hatch door is stuck in closed position. When I use the key button I hear a click at the lock but the door won’t pop open. Could it in any way be related to a battery failure occurring after I had it in storage for a while as it started happening only after AAA gave me a jump start?

Anyone have a diagnosis and maybe a fix?

Have you tried all the other ways that the hatch can be opened? Door switch, button on the rear wiper, etc. ?

Finally diagnosed and fixed. It was a bad “actuator “ . Approx $270 in parts and 2 hours installation cost.
