Question for those with Air Suspension
What height do you normally run your Macan in and why do you choose that height?
Curious why Porsche would offer the low setting if they recommend you drive in normal mode.
Have you ever had any concerns running in low mode, such as running into parking blocks or speed bumps?

I run low all the time, hasn't been a problem...it only drops it a little bit over normal mode. Vehicle looks and handles better in low.

I had an indy shop lower my system via piwis by 25mm. I still ride in low, no issues with parking blocks or speed bumps, I just like the lower look.

I run lowered most of the time in town and on the highway. No issues at all with speed bumps or any other obstacles. I raise it to normal height in the winter when head to the ski hill.

You had an independent shop lower your air suspension by an additional 25mm ? What is PIWIS? How can I lower my '23 GTS (once it arrives) by 25mm?
Also, any pics of your Macan in its lowest drive-able setting? Thank you!

I run in comfort mode most of the time, but if I an going to hit a fun road or even just a on/off ramp that will be fun, I make a quick switch to sport or sport plus. There is a big differnce in how the steering reacts and the ride as you firm up the car. Even in sport plus the ride is compliant, but much stiffer than comfort. I have no concern in sport plus (lowest mode) that you might hit curb stops or other things - it is still has good clearance. Porsche is just giving you options for different driving conditions, including off road mode that raises the car - that will be nice for you in Canada when the snow hits!
I know a lot of folks say they run in low all the time and even get it "lowered" further. I would wait until you get your GTS - then try it in all three settting - comfort, sport and sport plus and you will find quickly what works best for you in different types of road conditions. As equipped from the Factory it offers a wide range of options and likey you will find a perfect setting for every type of conditions!
PS - congrats on your Flames moving on! Battle of Alberta should be epic!

Sport is my wish default on startup. I set it there every time I drive, whether in town or spirited canyon carving.

Drifting
Always in low mode. Have been experimenting with the various drive modes in our 2021 Macan Turbo. I'm currently inclined to prefer Sport+ for suspension and Sport for throttle, transmission, etc.

I have never seen or driven a chassis that reacts so much to just lowering the car 10 mm (low setting) and to such small variances in tire pressure. I ride in the normal settings around town but anytime I am on a road in which The speed limit is higher (70mph) I switch to the low setting. Car handles noticely better in the low setting at speed. I also switch to sport mode to cool things better.

So many people in here confusing Comfort/Sport/Sport+ settings with ride height settings. You guys do realize they are different things right? You can run Sport with normal ride height and soft dampers if you so choose...ride height, dampers, sports exhaust, and throttle/transmission mapping are all independent.

These items can all be set independent of each other and with the current version of Sport Chrono, there's even an individual mode to custom tailor one's short cut preferences.
I have my air suspension set to low all them time unless I am actually driving on a very uneven surface. This was a big reason why I chose the GTS. I had my dealer lower mine an additional 10mm via PIWIS. It looks perfect to me now when it settles down after I park it.

Can you explain this in english for dummies like me?
You had an independent shop lower your air suspension by an additional 25mm ? What is PIWIS? How can I lower my '23 GTS (once it arrives) by 25mm?
Also, any pics of your Macan in its lowest drive-able setting? Thank you!

Here is a pic of a my 2015 Macan S, 19in wheels, 12/15mm spacers front/rear, factory air suspension, lowered 25mm via PIWIS, on low setting:

GTS won't go another 25mm lower because it's already 10mm lower than the S from the factory. It can go about 10mm lower with programming, Unless you goofed and selected the no cost 10mm higher suspension option when ordering which puts it at S height.
