Default Need Macan Lowering Advice

Hi Everyone:

I love my '19 Macan S but I don't like how high it rides with the space between the tire and wheel well being too high. I'd like to get a more aggressive stance without sacrificing ride quality and not break the bank so coil overs are out.

Members that have done this, what are your recommendations and what negatives have you found?

Thank you in advance.

Assuming you have air suspension I have seen on the Panamera forum someone added adjustable end links on the height sensors to fool the system into lowering the car.

I researched all spring sets… this is what I selected. Reason, lowers car more than other brands and can be adjusted perfectly for proper front to rear look.
Item Model # 25310090. Qty Subtotal KW H.A.S.(Height Adjustable) Coilover Spring Kit Audi Q5 | SQ5 | Porsche Macan 95B 2009+ 25310090 1 $859.00 Vivid Racing

I had my Porsche dealer instal and align. Came out fantastic.

How was the ride? Also how many hours did it take to install?

I will second that...any pics? I heard the H&R kit wasn't the best, so this kit seems promising

The Macan settled about another 1/4” and it has a great ride height and the ride quality is the same, not any harsher. The benefit is the handling is sharper. I do not recall the hours as I had my Porsche dealer instal and align after installation

Whoa...that is nice....You have convinced me going with the HAS KW Kit then. What were your settings? Lowest possible or? Front and rear same ride height? Or Rear slightly higher?

KW is a good product and that seems very cheap for a full set of coil overs. I paid that much for a used Cargraphics lowering module (for air suspension).

I believe this KW H.A.S. kit is only for lowering springs, not a full coil over set up.

That makes more sense. Thanks for the correction.

These are Height Adjustable Springs (HAS). I instructed my Porsche tech to drop the car to the lowest possible point (without sacrificing any ability to have proper alignment). That is why I purchased these. Basically the front, as I recall, adjusted to the lowest point, is a little lower than the rear. Not really noticeable to the eye unless measuring. The ride height is better than I expected. Just right, like a GTS.
