Sport mode
Just got my 2023 Macan GTS.
I have a question about the sport mode. The normal mode seems a bit soft.
Is it ok to use sport mode all the time?

Have all the sport mode your heart desires. I also wish it would default on every start. Have not noticed any fuel consumption increase.

For me it's Sport mode all the time. Individual mode w/ Sport engine/normal suspension to cruise on the highway.
If you like Normal mode a Pedal Commander makes it much more tolerable, the lazy throttle in Normal is downright hazardous in traffic.
Anxiously awaiting T-Design9 to come out with a module for the latest cars so it will remember the mode. So far they only have through 2020. Have had their memory module on other Porsches, works great.

Even though they mention the Macan in some of the language on their site when you go to order it the Macan is NOT listed in any of the options. I’d be in for this widget if I could verify that it would work on my ‘15 S model, anyone know? There is no way to contact T-Design9 via their website.

Vlad at T-Design9.com just confirmed in an email that it will not work with the Macan with console buttons. It will only work if it has the newer IOSS+ mode selector on the steering wheel.

Sport Mode also keeps the front louvers open to provide more cooling for the engine and transmission. I've seen oil temps drop 20 degrees F at highway speeds in cruise control simply by engaging Sport Mode. Nothing else changes in the car's performance since you're on cruise control.

I actually use Sport mode in my Audi and BMW especially during warmup to keep revs above 1500RPM because I don’t want a cold engine at low RPMs under load. I think a slightly higher RPM can result in slightly shorter warmup times, which is good for the engine.
Not familiar with the Macan though
