Default Question about rear seatbelt chimes

Hi. New to Macan but long time 911 owner. I got my 2021 Macan Base as a CPO last December and I’m having a puzzling issue with the rear seatbelt chimes.
When I have passengers in the rear seats and they exit the car, as I drive off the seatbelt warning chimes start sounding within about 5 seconds and chime away for about
a minute then stop. Has anyone experienced this? I’ve read the manual and can’t seem to see anywhere this is mentioned. Other than this little foible the car is great.
Thoughts/comments would be appreciated before I take it to the dealer.
Cheers, Scott

I told the dealer SA about it, and they know but no fix. I have to stop, turn off and restart to make it stop.

I was told that there is a fix for this super-annoying issue.

A software update should fix it.

I have a copy of a PDF that has the Service number 195/21 on it, and covers Macans from 2019 to 2022.

Apparently it also fixes an issue with the phonebook scroll function not working, but I've never run across that issue in mine.

Thanks for the info folks. Much appreciated. I guess I will try shutting off the engine and restarting after dropping passengers.
The dealer is about an hour away and I don't expect to take it to them until it's next service in about 10 months or if it really starts to bug me!!!

Will have it fixed on next service visit.

This has happened to me on occasion on my 2021 GTS. I mentioned it at a service and they did an update of some software. The reference from the dealer was "TI 9025" and called for an update of the instrument cluster. Not sure if that totally cured it though since it happened again recently. I might mention it at the next service but since I rarely have anyone in the back seat so doesn't bother me much.

Good luck!

My 2021 GTS is currently in for a windshield and this issue. I got a call from the SA asking if I recall which door the passenger(s) entered from and if they exited from the same door or opposite side. Honestly I never thought to keep track. Apparently if the passenger gets in from the driver side, then exits from the passenger side it can confuse the system. 🤷🏼‍♂️

seems strange but also plausible. They did mention a software update. We will see if it is fixed later this week.

anyone still dealing with this, maybe test this theory and let us know.

My only experience has been with 2 passengers, both using the same door they came in on.
